3. Case Scenario:

Mark, a Filipino citizen, married Karen, a foreign national, in the Philippines in 2018. After six months of marriage, they discovered that there was a legal impediment to their marriage. Karen wants to know the legal effects of the void marriage and if there are any remedies available to her.
